Zidaan Kapoor
High School Activist Co-leader of FARE Bay Area
and Entrepreneur Hometown Heroes Walk
As an advocate for the food allergy community, Zidaan has been featured in national outlets including Good Housekeeping, and was named Young Innovator of the Year by FARE. He has also been a member of the Teen Advisory Group for FARE in the past. Zidaan is the founder of Fight Fears, a social impact business inspired by his personal health challenges. Fight Fears helps children overcome mental health issues around life-threatening food allergies through an app that provides customers with individualized challenges to help them combat their food anxiety. In pursuit of further activism, Zidaan has given a TEDx Talk on food allergy anxiety and his app that has garnered over 14,000 views. On the side, Zidaan is also a classical violinist and composer and has performed twice at Carnegie Hall.
Sakura Murase
High School Activist Co-leader of FARE Bay Area Hometown Heroes Walk
Sakura Murase is a junior at an arts high school in the Bay Area, where she focuses in vocals and leads as junior class president. Sakura also founded a buddy program that connects prospective and incoming students with current students at her school, plays the piano, and enjoys biking. Her dedication to the food allergy community extends to founding EatWithoutWorry, a Teen Advisory Group project under Food Allergy Research and Education, to help people with food allergies find allergy-safe restaurants while traveling. She is currently trying to add a food allergy curriculum to her school district’s elementary school health curriculum.
Kana Murase
High School Activist Co-leader of FARE Bay Area Hometown Heroes Walk
Kana Murase is a high school freshman in San Francisco and loves cooking, playing sports, and performing community service. Two years ago she founded a program that helps English learners with schoolwork and communicating in English, and she has been playing club and school volleyball for around three years. Kana has also been playing piano from a very young age, and loves playing in senior homes and at public pianos. Recently she has been working on a project to help others find opportunities to do community service in the Bay Area.

Living with multiple life-threatening food allergies is a challenge for millions across the world. From navigating school lunches to embarking on trips, food allergies have posed daily hurdles that many take for granted. We are passionate about raising funds for Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) to support everyone across the world facing these challenges. Our goal is to make a positive impact by contributing to FARE's mission, helping improve the lives of those with food allergies, and raising awareness about the importance of allergen safety in our communities. 100% of donations received support FARE and their critical work in food allergy research, education, advocacy, and health equity.
